Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

"Yamos' Water Places" is a memorial project in memory of Yam Frid. We respect user privacy and are fully transparent about the information we collect.

What we collect

• Email address — for authentication only, via a one-time magic link.
• Display name — provided by you, shown next to your pins.
• Location — only when adding a pin, to set its position on the map. Never collected in the background.
• Photos and videos — uploaded when adding a pin, stored via Cloudinary.

How we use your data

Data is used solely to operate the app — displaying pins on the map, identifying pin owners, and sending login links. We do not sell data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Storage and security

Data is stored in a secure database (Neon PostgreSQL). Photos and videos are stored on Cloudinary. We apply reasonable security measures to protect your information.

Data deletion

You can contact us at any time to request deletion of your data. You can also delete pins you created directly from the app.
